John Stepanich

John attended Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado and graduated in 1986.  John is employed with the City of Englewood.  Prior to that, John worked at Mels's B&B Conoco.

John is married to Kris.  They have been married for 6 1/2 years and have two children, Megan 12 and Mason 3.  They are both very huge fans of their Uncle Richard

In his spare time John enjoys camping, hunting and fishing.

John is Richard Burton's Crew Chief and brother-in-law.  He has been involved with Richard's racing since he first learned to walk.  In 1992, John was the regional winner of the Ace Hardware Master Mechanic Award.

Scott Hans

Scott attended Englewood high School and Graduated in 1982. Scott has been a heavy equipment operator for 20 years.

Scott has been married to Vickie for 17 years.  They have two daughters, Michelle 13 and Jennifer,10.  Both are die-hard Richard Burton fans.

Scott loves to play with race cars.  His other hobbies include fishing, hunting, playing sports and doing home improvements.

Scott has been a part of the Richard Burton Race team since 1974 and is a 1997 regional winner of the Ace Hardware Master Mechanic Award

Dean Schrock

Dean also attended Englewood High School and graduated in 1988.  He is employed at Courtesy Ford.  Prior to that Dean worked for the Englewood Elks Club.

Dean is married to Richard Burtons oldest daughter Tricia.  They have been married for 3 1/2 years and have two children, Mathew 11 (who has been a junior crew member for his Grandpa since he was in diapers) and Madison 3 who is also a big fan of her Grandpa.

Dean enjoys playing softball and camping.

Dean has been involved with the Richard Burton Race Team for 11 years.

Tony Unrein

Tony attended Englewood High School and graduated in 1968.

Tony owns Emergency Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Services (EVMARS).  Tony started this company in 1981.  

Tony is married to Barbara. They have been married for 31 years and have two children, Tony and Jeanette and one grandson Justin.

Not surprisingly, Tony's hobbies are motor sports racing.

Tony has been involved with Richard Burton Racing for 35 years.  It was in 1994 that our partnership grew and grew.  He has been a huge asset to the team.

LeRoy Bogardus

LeRoy attended Adams City High School in Commerce City, CO and graduated in 1969

LeRoy currently works for EVMARS. Prior to that he was employed at Mountain State Ford truck.

Leroy has 2 sons, Nick 20 and Matt 16.  Both are also involved in and enjoy racing.

LeRoy was first involved in racing back in 1969 at Englewood Speedway, and has been with the Richard Burton Race Team for several years.

In his spare time, LeRoy also enjoys old cars, country dancing, hunting and fishing.

Dennis Nagel

Dennis attended Highland High School in Highland, Illinois and graduated in 1974.  He is also a 1986 graduate of Front Range Community College.

Dennis moved to Colorado in 1974. In 1980 he started Nagel Lawn Maintenance.  Dennis and Nagel Lawn Maintenance have been very active with Richard Burton racing for many years.

Along with racing, Dennis also enjoys ice hockey, hiking and gardening.

Greg Rimpley

Greg attended Sheridan High School in Sheridan CO. and graduated in 1974.

Greg is employed at High Point ServiCenter, Inc..  Prior to that he worked for Meridian Medical Corporation

Greg has been married to Kim for 11 years.  They have two children, Johnna and Zach, and one grandchild Makayla.

Greg's other interests are fly fishing and woodworking.  Greg recently joined the Richard Burton race team.

Cindy Schreiner 

Cindy is employed at Children Are the Future and has been working there for 12 years. Cindy really enjoys working with children.

Cindy is married to Steve and they have been married for 3 ½ years. They don't have any children, but they do have 2 dogs that they very much enjoy.

In her spare time Cindy enjoys bowling, camping and being with family and friends.

This is Cindy's first year with Richard Burton Racing, but has been a fan since 1994.

Shirley

Jim Newland

Jim is part owner of a family owned business, Hercules Industries. He has been working at Hercules since 1974. Prior to Hercules Industries, Jim attended Arapahoe Community College and Regis University.

Jim is married to Teri. They have 3 girls, Lindsey, Jamie and Erika. Lindsey is currently a senior at Thomas Jefferson High School, and will be attending CU Boulder in the fall. Jamie is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High school and Erika attends Saint Vincent de Paul and is in the 5th grade.

Jim and his family are big into racing. Their biggest hobby is generating money to race a Late Model in a NASCAR Saturday Night Racing Series.

Jim has been involved with Richard Burton Racing for many years and is a huge asset to the team!
